Right at the heart of Alps mountains, les Menuires offers over 600 km of slopes and over 200 lifts. Les Menuires is 400 kilometers from Marseille, 650 from Paris and 180 from Lyon. International travelers may arrive by combining plain, train and buses or cabs. This international ski resort is quite famous and well managed so travelers planning a trip to tLes Menuires will find additional practical information on official Web sites provided bellow.

Once arrived, drivers will not have to take their car again during the entire journey. Everything can be down and found by walking from restaurants, bakeries, bars, shops, ski pass, hotels and apartments are all organized as if you were going for a sea cruise, also walking insides galleries and shopping centers of the main building seems like if you were experiencing a cruise. People are coming from all around Europe and even from further continents, just open your ears and you will confirm. But Europe Travelers is born for outdoors’ experiences and therefore the modern small village of Les Menuires wasn’t the most exciting part of the journey.

Ski pass and children’s club

The room is ready ? So let’s get one of those ski pass, just don”t worry, everybody speaks English here, even more than French. Be careful, ski passes are very expensive, between 20 to 40 Euro per day, Les Menuires is not a low cost ski resort for small budget. Since 2005 the 3 Vallées lift companies use a hands free ski pass. The “P@S” can be recharged u pa t the last moment by phone or by the Internet.

Ski Pass is ready ? Oh no, the children are still there ! Well Europe Travelers as experience the Children’s Club of “les PiouPiou” for you. Expensive too. Count 130 Euros for 6 half days. But the service is good, everybody speaks English and the Nursery accepts children starting from the age of 3 months. Medical certificate and reservation obligatory.

Ski area of les 3 vallées

Childrens are at “les PiouPiou? ,Well your on the road for a uniq ski journey. Due to the size of the ski area, Europe Travelers confirms you can take your first lift at the early morning time and come back late afternoon by skiing exclusively different slopes all day long. Lifts and slopes are high, environment is there, the highest pic of the alps, le Mont Blanc is right there. Also the quality of snow is excellent thanks to the altitude and the numerous north face slopes. Can you imagine that you can go for lunch in a different village from a different valley by skiing ? Well it’s possible, if you wish to you can go to Meribel, Courchevel or Saint Martin ski resorts.

Finally the region is also very famous for its trekking and Off-piste skiing. Guides and books are there to help you preparing such a trip. Be careful and remember that you are responsible for your own safety and life in this type of skiing. But what an experience.
